38 Studios acquires Denise Kaigler

Back in November, Denise Kaigler left her seat as the corporate affairs VP of Nintendo of America. Citing family reasons as the reason for her depature, she also believed that it wasn’t game over for her – it was simply moving on to the next level. Well, she’s back in the game, and she’s found a new family in 38 Studios.

Back in November, Denise Kaigler left her seat as the corporate affairs VP of Nintendo of America. Citing family reasons as the reason for her depature, she also believed that it wasn’t game over for her – it was simply moving on to the next level. Well, she’s back in the game, and she’s found a new family in 38 Studios.

 

Kaigler will be serving as the CMO and lead coordinator for all of 38 Studios’ shops – there aren’t 38 of them, in case you were wondering. This includes Big Huge Games, the developer that 38 acquired from THQ. She was a very visible spokesperson for Nintendo, with interviews and a regular “Nintendo Minute” feature with IGN, but it’s not yet clear whether she’ll be doing the same for 38’s MMO communities.

 

Either way, she’s back, and we should be hearing from her in the near future.
