A lollapalooza of Lair tlairers – err – trailers

Pern? That’s like so two, three decades ago. Lair? Now that’s what dragon riding is all about. And to celebrate Factor 5‘s much-awaited title, we’ve got a set of videos all scaled and toothed up for you today. The three videos may look similar to each other at first glance – some parts of each of the trailers do feature the same clips, after all. But regardless each video has something new to offer.

The first is the most recent: a Japanese trailer for the game. It opens with a cinematic cutscene from the game and a whole ton of gameplay footage montaged after. It might be Japanese, but there really isn’t any voice over to interpret and confound yourself with. It’s just a good, clean, and straightforward trailer. Plus a cameo of what seems to be the cousin of Final Fantasy‘s staple Behemoth (found somewhere on the 0:59 mark).

The next two videos are a couple of days old, but we can’t just pass up the opportunity to show you guys, right? A couple of you may have missed them, so for posterity’s sake, we’re chucking these fire-breathing flicks in as well. The second video is in English and opens with the same cutscene above – albeit extends even further.

The third is the trailer featured in E3. And for all intents and purposes, it’s the same Japanese trailer above, but with added content at the beginning.
