A month after: Lost Planet still making waves
Apparently it’s not just UK that Capcom has taken up by storm…but U. S. video game rental shops too. Yeah-huh, GameSpy reports that Lost Planet is also topping the charts of Blockbuster Video, beating Gears of War and CoD3 in the total number of game rentals.
We also saw Lost Planet dominate GameFly’s charts and with the way things are going, we doubt Capcom’s hit title is gonna go down anytime soon. Some have been wondering what were the key factors that made the game such a hit (aside from the fact that it IS a great game), we even featured an article earlier opining that it was the demos that made the major contribution to the game’s massive sales figures.
So anyway, here’s the full list of the top ten most-rented videogames at Blockbuster Video in the week ending February 4th:
