A Wii exclusive: Bust-A-Move Bash’s next-gen debut

505 Games' Bust-A-Move Bash - Image 1In recent news, 505 Games has announced Bust-A-Move Bash! (BAMB) for the Nintendo Wii. The game will be a Wii exclusive with lots of new features that should appeal to fans of the series.

This puzzle game is simple to play, you aim a cannon from the bottom of the screen and shoot different colored bubbles at the top of the screen. If you get three or more of the same color together, they pop. Your eventual goal is to pop all the bubbles on the top of the screen.

If you get tired of this, there are other modes in which you can hone your BAMB skills:

  • Puzzle mode: play through 500 different stages.
  • Endless mode: an endless torrent of bubbles to test your skill and endurance
  • Versus mode: up to eight players can face off against each other simultaneously, a first for the series
  • Shooting mode: all-new for Wii, bubbles come at the player from all angles and the player uses the Wii remote and nunchuk together
  • Hyper mode: gameplay is speeded up for the most intense BAMB challenge ever

Bust-a-Move Bash! for the Wii is slated to be released on May 11th. It will be priced at around £39.99 (About US$ 79). While waiting you can check out the screenshots and the packshot of the European version.
