A_Engine_lua pre-Alpha – PSP programming engine
For those who are about to enter the wonderful world of coding PSP homebrew, coder a_noob has just released a new programming language engine known as A_Engine_lua.
According to the developer, the main purpose of this application is to allow new programmers to code a game with out the worries of handling graphics. The full list of details after the jump!

For those who are about to enter the wonderful world of coding PSP homebrew, coder a_noob has just released a new programming language engine known as A_Engine_lua. Take note that this is not a modification of Lua Player.
According to the developer, the main purpose of this application is to allow new programmers to code a game without the worries of handling graphics. Currently, A_Engine_lua supports the following:
- A_Engine Currently only supports simple 2D functions.
- Image loading (TGA, RAW, PCX*) *pending
- Image rendering (full image scalled)
- 2D vector obj builder
- 2D vector renderer (full, outline, rotated)
- simple BB collisions
- TTF font support
To help you get started, a_noob also added three demos done in this engine which include a menu, a game of Pong, and a bouncy ball which demonstrates the physics capabilities of this program.
If you are interested to try A_Engine_lua out, be sure the Readme.txt file included in the archive to know the vital details and avoid unnecessary problems during usage.
