Burger King Hero 5 - Image 1During a conference showcasing game line ups in the hopes of netting some sweet in-game advertising money, Activision Blizzard confirmed that they’ll be making Guitar Hero 5, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and that the rumors about the upcoming Tony Hawk being “differentwere true.

Admittedly, nothing terribly surprising, but it’s good to know all the same.

Guitar Hero 5 was confirmed when a gameplay screenshot was showcased with a burger king advert tucked away to the right of the on-screen guitar neck.

Acti-Bliz also confirmed that the new Tony Hawk game will “not be played with a controller in your hands.” I’m going to assume they’re talking about one’s legs or feet as the only remaining appendages make for difficult gameplay. The game will be coming out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and DS sometime in October of next year.

As for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2… it will exist. That’s all Acti-Bliz had to say on the matter.
