AdventureQuest Freaky Monster Contest details announced

Whichever way you look at it, it’s either too late or too early for Halloween. That doesn’t matter if you’re in the mood to channel Dr. Frankenstein’s spirit and create your very own monster, though. Luckily, Artix Entertainment and AdventureQuest are also giving you a venue to showcase your own monster creation and maybe even win a few goodies in the process.

A new admin post on the BattleOn forums has just announced the commencement of the AdventureQuest Freaky Monster Contest. All you have to do to enter is create an original monster that is not related to any monsters already found in AdventureQuest and post it on the contest forum thread along with a one-paragraph written description.

Galanoth, the admin who started the thread, also says that players can post a “written description plus a link to an image of your monster that you yourself drew or created using a digital program (like Paint).”

Three winners will be chosen, and the winners will get their monster drawn and animated by the AdventureQuest team and put in the game. The in-game monster’s description will include the winner’s forum name in it, marking him or her as the monster’s discoverer.

The three winners will also get 200 Z-Tokens, and seven runners-up will have their entries mentioned plus get 200 Z-Tokens each.
