Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures takes place in a pseudo-historical ancient world and at simpler place and time. But despite the absence of the Internet and video games, the Hyborian Age, created by Robert E. Howard, is no Iowa. The world of Conan offers as much excitement as downtown Baghdad.

It is a world run not by dumbass politicians but cruel gods (same difference?), creatures born in crevices of the darkest side of a twisted brain, lost civilizations and a struggling human race. Conan, formerly a barbarian has finally seized the throne as king of Aquilonia. Wait, is this based on the lifestory of Arnold Schwarzenegger? Nah! King Conan must defend his throne from the ancient evils threatening to throw the realm into chaos.
