Alan Wake update trickles in: Xbox 360 prioritized, PC news for later

Looking for updates on Alan Wake (Xbox 360, PC)? Cos they sure were serious when they said they won’t be giving out constant updates. We’ve got one for you right now, straight from the game’s message boards. Poster Markus – presumed to be Markus MÃ¤ki, Development Director for Remedy Entertainment – gave a shout out to all the fans wondering what’s up with the game, and how long before it gets out.

Lonely and deserted — like Alan Wake PC?

Replying to the question “Can we get a straight answer about the PC version?”, he said:

I’m a PC gamer at heart (have a Core i7, Radeon 4890, 5.1 audio setup at home) so I do appreciate your concerns.

Unfortunately all I can say at this point is that we’re focusing all our efforts on the 360 version and will be making comments in regards to the PC at a later in time.

Considering that the game’s been announced way back in 2005, it doesn’t sit well to know that they’re still busy at work on the Xbox 360 version, and from the looks of it, they’re putting the PC version in the backshelves for now until they get the console version done.
