Amazon now taking Final Fantasy XIII pre-orders for November 2008 release

That’s right, we’re talking about Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive Final Fantasy XIII among others in the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII package. If you’re really itching to get your hands on the game, well, you’re out of luck. The good news is Amazon‘s taking pre-orders for FFXIII. The bad? It won’t ship ’til November 30, 2008.
If the giant online retailer got the date right, we’re looking at a 13 months wait here. Last time we heard of how far the Fabula Nova Crystallis project was into development, Squeenix said Final Fantasy XIII was 13% finished, while Final Fantasy Versus XIII was at 1.3%. Weird how the release date nailed the 30th instead of the 13th, we say.
