Answer your call (of duty) with Call of Duty 3 Achievements

CoD3

360 owners anticipating the arrival of Call of Duty 3 are currently in the homestretch. November 7 is just around the corner, so just before you can say “Fire in the hole”, you better make sure your grenades and ammo are sufficient to take on the, well, call of duty.

And we’re not talking about grenades and ammo that you “physically” carry around in the game. We’re talking about a different kind of firearm here. Want a clue? It starts with a letter “A” and rhymes with “chievements”. Yep. Before you get it on with the booms, bangs, and ba-da-booms of war, you better make sure you’re well equipped. So without further ado, let the achieving begin:

  • (5) Basic Training – Complete the basic training in the beginning of Saint Lo.
  • (20) American Infantryman – Complete two missions as an American soldier.
  • (20) British Commando – Complete two missions as a British soldier.
  • (10) Canadian Highlander – Complete two missions as a Canadian soldier.
  • (15) Polish Tanker – Complete two missions as a Polish soldier.
  • (80) Won the War – Complete the single player campaign on any difficulty setting.
  • (25) Hot Potato – Pick up and return 5 live grenades.
  • (15) Rifleman – Complete a mission by firing only bolt action rifles. Melee attacks don’t count.
  • (15) Assault Trooper – Complete a mission by firing only assault rifles. Melee attacks don’t count.
  • (15) Battlefield Scavenger – Complete a mission by firing only German weapons. Melee attacks don’t count.

Yeah, that’s a bit short for an Achievements list, right? Well, that’s not all of it.
