ASTRO Gaming, Major League Gaming launch A40 Audio System

When gaming competitively, it is important for gamers to have the best gear, that includes everything from the computer rig itself all the way to the headset. ASTRO Gaming and Major League Gaming realize this and have teamed up to release a new high-end gaming headset called the MLG edition A40 Audio System.

The MLG edition audio system consists of two parts, the A40 MixAmp and the A40 headset. The MixAmp provides headphone amplification with Dolby Digital surround sound and integrates a zero-lag voice communication channel for private team chat. The headset itself is no slouch either and comes complete with a noise-canceling boom microphone and noise-dampening speaker tabs.

President and CEO of Major League Gaming Matthew Bromberg himself endorsed the product saying that he expects to see this product’s popularity rise among more competitive gamers:

The MLG A40 Audio system is going on the ASTRO Gaming website for US$ 249.95. It’s not cheap, but it’s probably worth it if it’s as good as Bromberg says it is.
