B-boy will finally be available in Korea - Image 1Do you guys remember B-Boy? Yeah, that hip-hop themed break-dancing title from FreeStyle Games that was released in North America back in October 2006. Well, Sony Computer Entertainment Korea is happy to announced that the video game will finally be available in Korea.

We know you are already familiar with this title but in case you haven’t noticed, three of the many in-game characters actually hail from Korea. They are Hong10, Physicx, and Darkness. Aside from these, the rest of the b-boys will also be making an appearance, there are 40 all in all, mind you, and some of the most notable ones include Crazy Legs, Ivan “The Urban Action Figure”, Crumbs, Benny, Kamel, and Mouse.

Basically, the objective of the game is for players to learn and master around 800 motion-captured moves. The game will start in street battles, and if you are good enough, you might actually reach the World Championships. As players progress, their character will earn style, sponsorship, and respect.

And for those who really want to make a name for themselves, B-Boy allows complete character creation that can be modified further in terms of breaker and even wardrobe. There’s an arcade mode as well as multiplayer face-offs using PlayStation Portable’s (PSP) wireless functionality. All battles will take place in 21 realistic values.

As if these aren’t exciting enough, the video game also has its own original soundtrack which features 40 licensed contemporary hip hop and classic funk tracks, mixed and scratched on the fly by in-game DJs.
