Be prepared: Unreal Tournament III PC system requirements

Epic Games has released the System requirements for the PC port of their up-and-coming FPS, Unreal Tournament III (also on the PlayStation 3). We’re happy to say that it doesn’t look like it will be asking too much of our PCs, with the game requiring just 512 MB of RAM at the very least.

What may get your goat, however, is the large chunk of space UT3‘s expected to chomp out of your hard drive. Be prepared to shell out 8 GB of space for UT3, whether you’re running this multiplayer frag bonanza within its minimum or recommended settings. Here are your required specs:

Minimum System Requirements:

Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
512 MB of System RAM
NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements

2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor
1 GB of System RAM
NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card
8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Keep in mind that UT3 for the PC is due this November, at least if Epic decides to stay the course of the game’s original launch date. In the mean time, we’ve also picked up two more screenshots for UT3. Enjoy your ogling!
