Bill Roper Is Keynote Speaker At GCDC 2006
Flagship Studios CEO Bill Roper will be one of this year’s keynote speakers at the GC Developer Conference. This will be Roper’s second time speaking in Leipzig. For over a decade now he has been one of the most colorful figures in the international games industry.
Before founding Flagship Studios in 2003, Roper was vice-president of Blizzard North and Director of Blizzard Entertainment. While at Blizzard, his tasks included responsibility for external projects, coordination of development teams, and significant involvement in the creation of the company’s most popular video games. Roper’s past projects include the Diablo, Warcraft, and Starcraft series of games. Under his direction, Flagship Studios is currently developing the eagerly anticipated Hellgate: London.
