Bounty Hounds Shipping Next Week

Bounty Hounds

Namco Bandai has now officially confirmed the earlier revealed North American release date for their long-awaited action title for PSP, Bounty Hounds. The company will be shipping the title next week, Tuesday, September 12. Those who have been anticipating the game’s release finally have reason to celebrate, as Bounty Hounds had been subject to numerous delays for a long time: Namco Bandai initially scheduled it for a release in Fall 2005; one year later, the game’s now heading to shelves for good.

Bounty Hounds’ story revolves around Maximilian, a leader of a band of ruthless mercenaries whose sole job is to scout out planets deemed fit for habitation, take part in battle, or clean up fallen opponents after the battle takes place. As Maximilian, players use a wide array of weapons and equipment to take down a variety of enemies in a free-roaming game world. Stylistic cutscenes in a comic-book look aid in progressing the story, where an intriguing plot unfolds that surrounds hostile aliens, greedy corporations and mysterious extraterrestrial intelligence.

UMD Gamesharing will also be supported, allowing players to go head to head against their friends, so all in all, there’s no reason not to look forward to the game when it hits stores next Tuesday.

Expect Bounty Hounds reviews to drop in soon, and if anyone of you is going to buy it, let us know what you think about it!
