The Broken Sword franchise, chronicles the adventures of George Stobbart who has the knack for becoming an unintentional hero. In Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, Stobbart falls head over heals with a beautiful and mysterious woman. Now any mortal man knows that women who combine beauty and mystery are bad news.
But this is Stobbart we’re talking about. He discards his brain’s warning and follows the call of his other organ – his heart!
As expected of mysterious and beautiful females, the woman disappears into thin air without so much as leaving a Dear George letter.
Thus, Stobbart launches a desperate search for her only to find a dark secret that reignites an age-old rivalry between the world’s most powerful factions. Not the Republicans and the Democrats but slightly worse.
George has has uncovered a manuscript older than Joan Collins and Joan Rivers combined (it’s THAT old!) and is linked to a mythical substance the two factions have been searching for the past 2,000 years!
