Busted: EA deep-sixes Crysis 360 rumor

CrysisFor the guys keeping tabs on the Crysis 360 rumor, we bring something straight from the horse’s mouth. Electronic Arts had just officially announced that the Crysis PC title is not not going to be hitting the Xbox 360 console as an independent port.

This news comes in light of a recent 1Up podcast, in which their editors had talked to Crytek‘s developers during last week’s CES regarding details of the game in the works, which would be built differently given the 360’s lack of Direct X10 support

However, an EA rep has recently denied the rumors, saying that there was a “miscommunication” which led listeners to assume that there was a 360 port in the works. For now, we await further news Crytek may have to say about this clarification. Hey at least we still got the PC title coming up.
