Calling for entries for 2nd Annual Guild Wars Halloween Art Contest

Believe it or not everyone, but Guild Wars is already in its second year, and is getting ready for celebrating its second Halloween. My, how time flies when you’re having fun! Remember those pumpkin-heads that they were giving away in-game last year? Well, nostalgia aside, Guild Wars is calling out for new entries for their second Halloween Art Contest.

The medium of your Guild Wars-themed entry is virtually unlimited; carve a pumpkin into your guild’s emblem; dress up as your favorite mesmer or necromancer; make Guild Wars-themed candies to give away to trick-or-treaters; make artwork showing your avatar in costume… the list is endless, and it’s up to you to get as creative as you can. Deadline for entries would be on October 23, at 6 p.m. PDT, and winners will be announced by Halloween itself.

Lucky winners will receive the following treats from the Guild Wars staff and Ideazon:

• Grand Prize : NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT video card, copy of Guild Wars Factions game, Prima’s Guild Wars Factions Guidebook, Prima’s Guild Wars Guidebook, Zboard Gaming Keyboard with Guild Wars Factions Keyset, and a US$ 75 gift certificate redeemable at the Zstore.
