Capcom did listen to fans, suggestions now in Lost Planet 2
This sure is a nice gesture from Capcom. When they said they’re listening to what their fans have to say, they actually were — and incorporating it to Lost Planet 2.
This sure is a nice gesture from Capcom. When they said they’re listening to what their fans have to say, they actually were — and incorporating it to Lost Planet 2.
Here’s some of the stuff you’d surely love to hear:
1) If you pre-order Lost Planet 2 at GameStop locations in North America, you will be able to donwlod two new maps. Here, you can engage in battle during the 16-player multiplayer versus modes of the game.
Here’s what’s included in the new map packs:
- Helix
The underwater NEVEC mining facility houses several layers and twisted corridors. Swim between the layers, or dive to the bottom to change your point of attack. Aqua Catapults can launch you to the upper levels in a hurry, and you must learn every corner and get the upper hand on your enemies.
- Back to the Island
The shady atoll of Island 902 is broken into wide open spaces and compact interiors. Choose your battlefield from the beaches to the battered carrier, or explore a new dimension in the underwater battle. Control the bridge to dominate the map, but beware attacks from all sides.
2) Since it was heavily in demand, Capcom has decided that the previously GameStop exclusive playable skin of Albert Wesker and Magnum Revolver weapon are now available to everyone who purchased the game.
3) Capcom has confirmed the splitscreen feature for Lost Planet 2. Now you can double the fun with a friend right in the same living room.
You liking their offers so far? Lost Planet 2 will be coming out for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 18, 2010.
