Carmack reveals what he wants for the Wii

id software - Image 1Ever imagined what Orcs & Elves would be like on the Wii? You’re not alone. In fact, one of the gaming scene’s stalwarts shares your vision. Yup, id Software boss John Carmack sees it too and says he’ll be happy to do it.

Carmack was recently interviewed at this year’s QuakeCon and he was all praises for today’s fastest-rising game machine. Carmack may not be warm to Nintendo but he acknowledged the fact that Nintendo’s machine is a dash of “newness” to the industry.

“We’re not going to see Rage on the Wii,” he said of the company’s brand new title, “but I’d be happy to see some other stuff on there.” says Carmack.

Asked what title he’d like to work on if id ever decides to develop for the Wii, he says “I hope we can do a Wii game with Orcs & Elves.” However, he maintained that no real deals have been made between the two firms so far.
