Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Details
Yesterday, we confirmed that Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin was heading to the DS. Today, Konami issued a press release with more information. In this upcoming title, you will be able to control two different characters – the vampire hunter, Jonathan Morris, and a young girl with magic powers, Charlotte Orleans. Once again, the plot revolves around Dracula. You must stop his plan to reconstruct his castle. The difference here is that the story takes place during World War II. The souls lost from the war are wandering in search of salvation. The spirits are led by two sister vampires to try and rebuild Dracula’s castle.
You can switch between Jonathan and Charlotte as you proceed through the game. Jonathan will be a weapon-based fighter while Charlotte will be a magic-user. They can both use Summon attacks to bring out demons to fight for them. Weapons will also be found as you explore, like in previous titles. There will be over 100 new enemies in the game.
