Chart Track UK Software Sales: Grand Theft Auto 4 still on top

Despite a massive drop in sales (77%, in fact), Grand Theft Auto 4 remains as the UK’s top selling game. That’s saying something. Check out all the other games that GTA 4 beat out (no pun intended) by going to the full article.

Now on its second week out, Grand Theft Auto 4 still dominates the charts in the UK. Not only that, but it’s managed to keep its place on top despite a massive 77% drop in sales.

The latest update also seems to give weight to Microsoft‘s claim that the Xbox 360 version is more popular than the PlayStation 3 one. According to Chart Track, the 360 version accounted for 62% of sales last week, compared to its 55% margin the previous week.

The list is still dominated by the major players: mostly games from Nintendo, and of course, the never-dying Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Here are the top ten games in the UK for the week ending on May 10:
