CNBC interviews SCEA’s Tretton about PS3 price cut

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) CEO and President Jack Tretton was recently interviewed over at CNBC regarding the latest development with the PlayStation 3. As you all know, Sony just slashed a hundred greenbacks from the 60GB model, bringing it down to just US$ 499. The 80GB model, furthermore, was finally introduced to Western markets.

We have to say that although the interview was quite short, it was really informative and gives consumers a first-hand look at the reasoning behind the price cut. The questions posted by the newscaster were engaging as well, even catching Jack Tretton a bit off guard at certain points.
