Crayon Shin Chan Makes His Way to Wii

Shin ChanJapanese developer Banpresto has just announced that the Bart Simpson of Japan will be making its way into Wii! Weee!!!

The rude and weird five-year-old boy from Kasukabe, Japan has made an appearance in GBA, but now it will be cheering up kids and adults alike in Nintendo’s next-gen console. For those of you who don’t know him, Shin Chan is the lead character in a Cartoon Network show which features not-so-superb animation, but makes up for it with its laugh out loud humor.

Written by Yoshito Usui, the manga and anime series Crayon Shin-Chan has become very popular in Japan, UK, Spain, Portugal, India, and the Netherlands, and from the looks of it, it has conquered America as well.

If you haven’t seen any of the show’s episode yet, you might want to check it out at Cartoon Network‘s Adult Swim where it’s still being aired (despite parental complaints that Shin Chan sets a bad example for their kids). Intriguing, huh? And the fact that it’s coming to the Wii, well, it’s definitely worth looking out for.
