Crytek, EA officially close Crysis beta registration

Crysis beta registration now closed - Image 1Last October 1 we posted an article announcing Crytek and Electronic Arts opening the Crysis beta to the public. Three days have passed since then and within that short period time all the slots have already been filled.

Those who weren’t able to sign-up missed a chance to try out the video games’ robust multiplayer gameplay. While we’re not sure at what’s already available in the video game’s beta, the final copy will have various modes like instant action (a basic deathmatch option) and Power Struggle (where players fight to destroy the opposing factions’ base with a nuclear bomb).

Crysis is slated to be out this November 15 in Europe, with Australia and the U.S. getting it a a day later. So far, the game is shaping up quite well but we’ll hold off any judgments until the final version comes out.
