Custom Firmware 1.62 IE-D Update2
A little more than a week after posting Custom PSP Firmware 1.62 IE-D for the community’s use, homebrew developer becus25 has announced the release of 1.62 IE-D Update 2. This latest version is reported to carry the following new features in the recovery special tool menu (according to becus25’s site):
- Toogle [sic] USB (flash0)
- Toogle [sic] USB (flash1)
Keep in mind that this FW is only compatible with TA-079 – those whose PSPs run on TA-082 motherboards will want to steer clear. Users unfamiliar with uploading new FW to their PSP are strongly advised to view the file readme or the QJ.Net Forums for full usage instructions, as mishandling FW FLASHING may lead to bricking incidents.
