DAoC: Out with patches, in with the Camelot Campaigns

DAoC Minotaur - Image 1The latest buzz on the Dark Age of Camelot is that Mythic won’t be pushing through the original plan of releasing a content patch this year.

During a recently held Mythic event, the DAoC devs said that they’ll be getting “Camelot Campaigns” instead of a content patch this year. With these Camelot Campaigns, users will be able to get new game content every two weeks for up to six months. These campaigns will be playable even after the six months are up.

And to jumpstart these new changes, Mythic will soon be releasing the first Camelot Campaign called Dragon’s Revenge. This will introduce a destructive dragon with one sole mission: to wreak havoc in all three realms. Mythic is also planning on releasing a Catacombs Pack for DAoC, which will feature the first four expansions.
