Dead Head Fred’s Tiki Head: screenshots and info

Time to put your heads on straight guys, we’ve got another dose of info about one of Dead Head Fred‘s… well, heads. This time, it’s all about the Tiki Head.

If you haven’t the slightest idea what we’re talking about, here’s a primer. Dead Head Fred, from D3Publisher and Vicious Cycle, is an action video game set to hit the PlayStation Portable. The hero, Fred Neumann, loses his head after messing with the bad guys but is resurrected with only his brain and eyes in a fishbowl where his head should be. Anyway, Fred gets his powers by ripping his enemies’ heads off.

Last time, we saw a product of some awful radiation, the Mutant Head. Today’s screenshots feature the Tiki Head. It’s actually a misnomer since the Tiki Head is actually just a headdress and no head. It’s just like what Polynesian witch doctors or shamans would wear whilst offering a virgin sacrifice or something. It’s special abilities include a decoy (press circle), poison darts (enter Aim Mode, then press circle), and teleportation via the Tiki Totems.

The Tiki Totems will act like portals so you can access other areas easily, and also go back to your previous location by accessing the last totem you used. Interesting? That’s just a primer for what’s to come in Dead Head Fred. While waiting for release, check out the screenshots.
