Death Knight to be the only hero class in Wrath of the Lich King?
Players have been asking if there will be more than one hero class introduced in World of Warcraft‘s upcoming expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. So far Blizzard has given word that adding another hero class might not be a good move at this time.
There are many factors to consider when adding a new class, especially ones that can be considered “epic” or “heroic.” Blizzard Poster/ Community Manager spoke about this and the possibilities of adding another heroic class in the game:
We are thinking at current that any future hero class additions will be made in expansions further along the line so that we can control just how many classes the game has and continue to work on attaining balance as we add them.
Based on Nethaera‘s response, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any additions (aside from the Death Knight) any time soon. WoW players are going to have to wait a bit if they want to get their hands on a Blademaster or a Demon Hunter. However, the future does look bright since they are planning to add more hero classes as more expansions are released so it’s only a matter of time.
