Deep excavation in Lost Planet scans

As if Lost Planet: Extreme Condition couldn’t get any more cryptic for us, we’re struck by yet another pair of scans to blow us away. If any of you guys know the ins and outs of the Japanese language like the back of your hand, please, pray tell – give us a decent translation. All we can really do now is assume.

The scans feature a bunch of stuff that most of us have probably seen before, straight from Capcom: the dread-locked baddie, a gun-slinging femme fatale, some vicious war-mechs, and a glimpse of the versus mode. Yeah, that’s all well and good. Nothing really wow about that, but it’s still content.

One thing worth taking a second look at, however, is the lower part of the scan on the right. Neo Venus Construction. Inc. NEVEC, for short, it seems. It’s the company we’ve heard of before that roots itself deeply into the story. How deeply rooted? Must be some “deep excavation” sort of thing, if you get our drift. Too bad understanding the Japanese language escapes us. Whatever “spoilers” the text below has to offer, we can only guess…
