DeFlasher Edition No-Limits v5.5 (for 3.40 OE)

PSP homebrew developer DeadZone just dropped by the QJ.Net Forums earlier to let the community know that DeFlasher has been updated to version 5.5. This application allows you to flash your PSP’s RCOs and themes, among other files; DeFlasher’s special trait compared to other flasher apps is that it allows users to flash an unlimited number of items unto the PSP.

DeadZone explained that this latest DeFlasher release hosts increased support for rco’s, vsh.prx and pspbtcnf.txt:

DeFlasher v5.5 is expected to work on custom PSP firmware 3.40 OE. Full usage instructions and details can be found in the file readme – make sure to read that before anything else to avoid mishandling the app, which can lead to bricked PSP consoles. There’s also DeadZone’s release thread over at our QJ.Net PSP Development Forum, which carries more details, and an ongoing discussion for the app.

Or, if you’re looking for a demonstration before making your decision, DeadZone was kind enough to host a video. You may check it out over at the Full Article.
