Developing Oneechanbara VorteX: an interview

There’s not much you can say about Oneechanbara VorteX. It’s bikini-clad cowgirl zombie killing, and while that isn’t a bad thing, it’s also far more fan service than your usual video game, with the exception of DOAX2.

Which is why we’re somewhat surprised to see an interview with the game’s marketing manager instead of more gratuitous slashing. This interview features some new action scenes as well as some of the stuff we’ve seen from other trailers, but it also shows you some of the little nuances they’ve put in. For instance, you can definitely confirm that the men in gray suits are definitely baddies, and are strong enough to send the heroines flying with a good kick. Also, you’ll get to see a little bit of Dress-up Mode here.

The one thing we wish, however, is that Tamsoft and D3Publisher refine the actual gameplay if they intend to make this available to other countries. Being able to dress up characters is nice and all, but if we have to see that same attack animation one more time, we might just go into a zombie rage. For now, enjoy the video, and start those “American VorteX” petitions already!
