Some scans of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker have hit the net. Taken from Weekly Jump, they show some new screenshots. The game will be using the cel-shading style that can be found in games like The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Tales of the Tempest. The DS seems to do very well with cel-shading. The art-style is instantly recognizable as that of long-time series artist Akira Toriyama. For those who don’t know, Toriyama is the creator of Dragon Ball. The game is the newest addition in the long-running Dragon Quest Monsters series which follows the same basic concept as Pokemon.
