DS, Wii, 360 to see Transformers games

Optimus Prime is ready. If the Autobots waged a battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons, and they actually won, would we be pleased? Of course not! Then we wouldn’t be able to get them to do mo-cap for new Transformers games. Specifically, Transformers for the Wii, DS, and Xbox 360

The most recent issue of Nintendo Power seems to confirm this, with three Nintendo games coming out based on the movie:

Based on the upcoming Michael Bay flick, Transformers will let you play as either the heroic Autobots or evil Decepticons. Each ‘bot will come equipped with unique weapons, moves, and transformations. Activision is planning a Wii version and two DS versions of the game.

There’s also mention of confirmation for an XBox 360 game, though you can probably guess why Nintendo Power didn’t make any mention of that.

As for the Nintendo ones, we don’t know why there’ll be two DS games, but if they could make one a turn-based strategy game like the Super Robot Wars series of games, there would be no doubt we’d be grabbing one. Now for a more important question: Will they make in-game Bumblebee a good old VW or that Cadillac travesty of Transformers fandom?
