Danish man in court for “selling” WoW gold for underage boys’ nude pics

A 28-year-old man is being prosecuted at the Copenhagen City Court for allegedly “grooming” young boys over WoW. “Grooming” would be offering the young boys some virtual gold in exchange for their naked pictures, and in some cases, live webcam videos of masturbation.

 

According to the report, some 10,000 illegal pictures and 1,200 videos of naked young boys, aged 12-16, were found in the suspect’s personal computer files at the time of his arrest.

 

He used the WoW website as well as the MSN Messenger for the delicate “transactions”. For his defense, the man claimed that he never enticed nor pressured the boys into doing anything. He did concede, though, that he did get the said items.
