Eidos announces new Hitman, Tomb Raider and more in 2007 report

Jane Cavanagh - Image 1People say Jane Cavanagh, the founder of the SCi Entertainment Group, has just released the company’s 2007 annual report where they revealed that sequels to the Tomb Raider, Hitman, and some of their other IPs are in development. There’s an uneasy air surrounding its emergence, however, since SCi’s own investors called for the ousting of Cavanagh a few months ago. To find out more, head on over to the full article.

Lara Croft - Image 1SCi Entertainment Group CEO Jane Cavanagh has rolled out the company’s 2007 annual report. The document revealed quite a bit of information about what SCi has lined up in the foreseeable future.

The report showed that new additions to the Tomb Raider and Hitman franchises as well as sequels for Just Cause and Battlestations: Midway are already in development. SCi is the parent company of Eidos Interactive, the firm in charge of the creation of these titles.

Does this mean that we’re going to see these games within the year? Perhaps. However, the report did mention that the games are “for 2008 and beyond.” Also, we’re not sure if this report was published before the huge management coup back in January, where Cavanagh was told to step down with “immediate effect.”

Still, we wouldn’t put it past the company to release one or two of these games before the year is over.
