Eleksen’s Intriguing New Oragami Accessory

Eleksen is a rapidly expanding company that creates various interface accessories that use force sensing fabric to transmit data, but so far they have only released products as components within machines built by other companies. Until the UPMC tablet PC hits the street, Eleksen’s fabric keyboards and accessories will continue to be available only as original equipment packaged with Orange cell phones and Palm handhelds in Europe. Fortunately, when the UPMC is released Eleksen’s fabric keyboard, along with a fabric joystick, is going to be available as an accessory. Judging from Eleksen’s reputation for providing well constructed, innovative products the UPMC’s fabric keyboard and joystick will not disappoint. To date, there’s no word on price for the force sensing fabric accessories, but I wouldn’t expect them to add too much to the price of a machine.
