ESRB’s Wii additions: drifting, wrestling, alien hunting?

Hmmm...

Two different bits of information compiled into one interesting rumor. Go Nintendo and Wii Fanboy both have short speculative articles on upcoming Wii games, and they both make mention of ESRB ratings.

On the Go Nintendo side, they mention a listing for Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2. The last we heard of anything related to Tokyo Xtreme was our mention of Tokyo Xtreme Racer for the 360, which really didn’t wow us by itself. The first drift game on the PS2 was also kind of spotty (personal experience), so we’re not holding out much hope for that one.

Wii Fanboy, on the other hand, has some rather interesting tidbits related to virtual console games. As you can see above, the ESRB listed Galaga and Pro Wrestling as rated titles for the Wii. Of the two, we definitely want to see a green light for Galaga, because it was a fun shooter then, and it should still remain a fine piece of nostalgic alien slaying now.

Until these three bad boys get some sort of actual announcement from Nintendo though, they’ll be staying in the rumor bin. Unless, that is, you know something that we haven’t heard about yet. If you see some new stuff on the ESRB page, let us know, alright?
