Etrian Odyssey III announced, has pirates and ninjas

Nintendo hard? Try Atlus hard. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has revealed another entry in Atlus’ Etrian Odyssey hardcore dungeon crawling series. The new DS game, Sekaiju no Meikyuu III: Hoshimi no Raihousha (Etrian Odyssey III: Caller of the Starry Seas) will be out in Japan  in March 2010. Scans and features after the jump.

Nintendo hard? Try Atlus hard. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has revealed another entry in Atlus’ Etrian Odyssey hardcore dungeon crawling series. The new DS game, Sekaiju no Meikyuu III: Hoshimi no Raihousha (Etrian Odyssey III: Caller of the Starry Seas) will be out in Japan  in March 4, 2010.

Etrian Odyssey III comes with five new classes — Prince/Princess, Phalanx, Monk, Shinobi, and Pirate — and supports local wireless multiplayer for up to five players. No online feature for this one.

The previous games in the series eventually made it overseas so chances are we’ll be seeing a localized version of this one as well.
