Nintendo has some good news for gamers in Europe and Japan. They’re cutting down on DS prices in both territories.

In Japan, the DSi and DSi XL price cuts will commence on June 19th. The DSi’s price will drop to 15,000 Yen while the DSi XL’s price will fall to 18,000 Yen. The company will also stop issuing price guidance to retailers for the DS Lite, which is expected to result in a retailer price drop as well.

Over in Europe, Nintendo is also cutting down on the DSi’s trade price starting June 18th. It’s still up to retailers to dictate what the final price will be but MCV expects it to be somewhere around the GB£ 130 to GB£ 140 range.
