EVE Online down again – but Revelations come after

Hey, I'm lost, and I'm about out of gas. Can you spare a tow?CCP Games announced that they have to shut down the Tranquility server for EVE Onlineagain – from Tuesday, November 28, 0200 GMT to Wednesday, November 29, 0200 GMT. But when they’re done removing the gunk from the jump drives, and you’re done cooling your jets, you should be able to boot up to a whole new chapter in the EVE Online story.

Welcome to the Revelations expansion, Chapter I. Did CCP mention that this upgrade is for free?

What else did they mention again? “Revelations features many improvements, new features, content and a wealth of optimizations and fixes both to server and client. Detailed patch notes and a features page will be available shortly.” So while we stand by for those notes, as well as the expansion itself, try surveying our past articles on Revelations, such as the video and screencaps from Fanfest, and the interview with the game devs.
