Exploring Middle-Earth: The Last Bridge before Rivendell

The Last Bridge - Image 1

In the lands of Middle-Earth, there lies The Last Bridge in the Great East Road that connects the Lone-lands to the Trollshaws where Elrond Halfelven resides. The Last Bridge takes its name from being the final one you shall come across on the Great East Road when heading toward the Misty Mountains.

The bridge was built by the kings of Arnor and was the bridge that Aragorn – or Strider, as he was known at the time – led Frodo Baggins and his band of hobbit companions to get to Rivendell. It was there that Aragorn found an Elf-stone, a beryl left by the Elf-lord Glorfindel. It was the same Elf-lord that assisted in rescuing Frodo from the Nazgul in the Ford of Bruinen.

In Turbine Inc. and CodemastersThe Lord of the Rings Online, the Last Bridge may be worth the travel for players not just for its value as a landmark but because more might be found there than just excellent masonry.
