Famitsu confirms – new Katamari game coming to PS3

Fans of the Katamari franchise have a lot to be happy about – Namco Bandai is getting busy cooking up a new Katamari game, and it’s headed for the PS3. This new game is called Katamari Damacy Tribute, and is aiming for a new “visual expression” in the new title. More info coming right up.

The game will run in full 1080p HD, so whatever they’re gonna express, it’s gonna be pretty.

If you ever wondered  what it’d be like if a huge magnetic ball was rolling around the city, this game would be something like that. You have a ball, roll it all over the place, and simply enough, the place with be all over the ball. Grow your ball to its biggest!
