Famitsu scans of Namco Bandai’s Gundam Battle Universe revealed

The new title inserts itself as the direct sequel to Gundam Battle Chronicle, which was released a little more than half a year ago. For more details, check out our full article after the jump.

Weekly Famitsu scans of Namco Bandai's Gundam Battle Universe - Image 1If you still feel like you haven’t had enough giant robots in your life then Namco Bandai is more than ready to deliver even more Gundam fun with the latest iteration in the long standing mecha franchise.

Gundam Battle Universe inserts itself as the direct sequel to Gundam Battle Chronicle, which was released a little more than half a year ago.

A recent Famitsu magazine scan of the upcoming title was found on the Games Animation Forum (GAForum) featuring the different additions in the new game. Gundam Battle Universe will center on the main storyline from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Char’s Counter Attack.

Fans of the series can expect even more mecha like the Gundam F91, new pilot skills, as well as several guest appearances from characters like Bright Hassaway. In addition, those of you who still have your save data from Gundam Battle Chronicle can transfer it into the new game.

Namco Bandai promised to deliver a new website featuring additional information regarding the game this weekend, so make sure to keep your eyes out for it. In any case, we’ll be here to cover any new updates on it until the game’s actual release.
