FF XI update: Special Task Force banning activities - Image 1With MMORPGs having a large number of players going online simultaneously, it’s really difficult to keep tabs on illegal actions going on.

For Square Enix, they were able to formulate something in order to address these kinds of issues happening in Final Fantasy XI, hence the birth of the Special Task Force.

This special body was created to deal with illegal dealings, transactions or what have you. In their latest report, the Special Task Force was able to ban 5,420 accounts due to illegal fishing. They were also able to ban the accounts of hunters engaged in notorious monster monopolization for Real Money Transaction. In addition, the task force was able to discover 200 accounts that formed a single organization involved in RMT.

All these were made possible due to the reports sent in by concerned players. The Special Task Force was able to track down specific characters that violated the Final Fantasy XI user agreement.

The Special Task Force noted that they will be continuing their activities in dealing with these violators with the help and cooperation of the players.
