FFXI Wings of the Goddess site update: enemies and new jobs

The menacing Peiste! - Image 1PlayOnline‘s and Square Enix‘s Final Fantasy XI website for the Wings of the Goddess expansion has been updated with new monsters and descriptions of two new job types.

Visiting the website, you’ll be treated to two new monsters: the Peiste (pictured right) and the Rafflesia. You’ll also see descriptions of the Dancer and Scholar job classes, two of the new big additions you’ll be seeing in Wings of the Goddess.

For those who haven’t heard of the Dancer and the Scholar, we’ve got a short description of the two for them, as revealed by the website. First off, the dancer’s looks to be a new kind of offensive support class, where the dancer’s dances effectively act like spells that can either inflict damage or induce a status effect upon the enemy.

More on the scholar job class after the jump!

On the other hand, the scholar’s preoccupation is with versatility, as is supposed to be able to alternate the use of two schools of magic. Our guess is that he can either use a mix of black and white magic or black and red magic, but that’s only speculation at this point.

In any case, if you want to know more about the Peiste, Rafflesia, Dancer, and Scholar, head on over to the Source link below for some added information and pictures!
