Square Enix has announced that new content will be making its way to Final Fantasy XI via a trio of major updates.

 

The first one, “Vision of Abyssea,” is slated for release this summer. The other two updates, “Scars of Abyssea” and “Heroes of Abyssea”, haven’t been dated yet. They’ll all be available for PS2, Xbox 360, and PC. Each will launch simultaneously on the aforementioned platforms.

 

All three, priced at US$ 9.99 each, will add new combat stages, equipment, and monsters to Final Fantasy XI. Players will need to have both the Rise of the Zilart and Wings of the Goddess expansion packs to play them though.
