Retailers have pulled off all sorts of gimmicks to sell their stuff, but one HD TV retailer in Japan is doing something that’s a little more on the unique side: they’re playing Final Fantasy XIII trailers on the big screens.

Use of sharp-looking video has always been a part of TV salesmanship. We’ve all seen those landscape videos and close ups of moist fruit, heck I’ve even seen one showing Bikini Destinations just to get you to take a closer look. Well, if you’re looking for top-notch quality, why not go for Final Fantasy XIII? Square Enix definitely knows how to deliver on that end.

 

“If you’re playing Final Fantasy XIII, then of course big screen!” says one of the store signs. Essentially, they’d be hitting two birds with the whole plan, good call.
