Finally, Nintendo Plans Release of Pink Game Boy SP

Stop the presses… there’s another color new Game Boy color. Oh wait, Nintendo has done this already.

In an attempt to further capture girl gamers, Nintendo will release a pink Game Boy SP complete with the new sharper and brighter screen. Keep in mind, about 24% of Game Boy SP owners are female, and this upgrade serves to woo more girl gamers in the rapidly growing dynamic of female gamers.

This new Game Boy variation will be released on March 27 at $79.99. If you’re one of the 5 or 6 people who don’t have something that can play GBA games in your house, this might be for you.

I think it might have been a better idea to market a pink DS, or slash the SP price a bit to galvanize sales, but I guess that’s why I’m a writer and not working for a marketing firm.
